Q. What is Mobile Agent?


A. Mobile Agent provides access to real estate search information on the go - for agents and buyers. Search MLS data from any cell phone or wireless handheld device anytime, anywhere. The system allows quick, easy access to property data on the road, at a moment's notice. Buyers can now pull up to any home on the market and get important information on the property including: Beds, Baths, Price, Taxes, Acreage, Square Footage, Full Description, Sponsoring Broker/Agent's contact information and Photos.



Q. What are some special ways to search?


A. Mobile Agent supports free-form queries. The system intuitively seeks out the best results and delivers them to the user for ease-of-use. However, best results can be achieved with the following three searches:


Q. How do I get started using Mobile Agent?


A. Agents and Brokers sign up for the service. Once activated, agents can sign up buyers in their account. Whenever a buyer accesses property information, the agent can monitor activity and respond to showing requests. If you have not signed up, click this link to register today. The only requirement to use Mobile Agent is to have a text-enabled cell phone. Currently, over 99% of all cell phones are able to access the service. NOTE: Your MLS Board will need to have an IDX or RETS feed that a third party company can use to display properties in the sponsoring broker/agent's Mobile Agent service.



Q. Do I need to install software or sync my wireless handheld to run Mobile Agent?


A. No. Mobile Agent only requires that your phone has text messaging. A text message and mobile web/media access plan is recommended.

Q. Which carrier/wireless service provider is Mobile Agent compatible with?


A. Mobile Agent works across all major wireless carrier in North America including but not limited to ATT Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless), Boost, Cellular One, Sprint (NEXTEL), T-Mobile, Verizon and Virgin.

Q. How do I access the Mobile Agent WAP site (Mobile Internet site) from my device?


A. This will vary device by device and carrier. Most devices and carriers support embedded links in a text message. Many phone require the user to select "options" and then go to link to follow that link to launch a mobile internet site. In the event it is not supported, the user can type in the URL in the handset's mobile web browser.
